How to Find Trading Card Stores Near You

Finding a good local card store used to mean word of mouth and a lot of guesswork. CardMap is built to make it quick - it is a community directory of trading card stores, vending machines, events and grading drop-offs across Australia and New Zealand. Here are the fastest ways to find what is near you.

Use the map

The map is the most visual way to search. Open the map, pan to your area, and you will see listings plotted as pins - stores, vending machines and events together. Tap a pin to see the listing, including its address and the games it carries. From a listing you can get directions or add it to a route.

Browse by state, region and suburb

If you would rather drill down by place, the directory is organised by country, then state or region, then suburb. Start at the locations index and pick your area.

• Trading card stores in Melbourne
• Trading card stores in Sydney
• Trading card stores in Brisbane
• Trading card stores in Adelaide
• Trading card locations in New Zealand

Filter by the type of place

Not every listing is a shop. CardMap separates the main types so you can go straight to what you want:

• card vending machines
• upcoming events and tournaments
• stores (specialty card shops), and grading drop-off points where they exist.

Search by the game you collect

If you are after a specific game, many state pages have a dedicated game section - for example Pokémon or One Piece listings for that state - so you can find shops that actually stock what you play.

Check details before you travel

Listings are community-maintained, so before you make a special trip it is worth opening the listing to check the address and hours, and confirming anything critical - like whether a store runs events on a given night - directly with the venue. Opening hours and stock can change.

Once you have found a few places worth visiting, you can plan them into a single trip rather than driving back and forth - that is what CardHunt is for.
